Pirates!

The play I have been working on for awhile now had its debut today and it was awsome. The crowds were laughing the actors were having fun it was awsome. I hope all the locals come see it I am having alot of fun putting it on for you guys. Nothings to new I didnt have any school today I was doing the matinee show for other schools and thne after that we went to my frined josh house and had fun it was great fun. Oh and after the play every one went to artic circle and ate and had a bunch of fun I havent laughed that hard in awhile, things have been rather bleak lately I suppose if it wasnt one thing it would be the other typical teenager, who cares I life in the now. Thats all he wrote.

Understanding improv

Pirates was once again so much fun. I messed up a few times but I beat myself up for it so I am good. My aunt Jenny is in the hospital, im not to worried about it even though it is serious I just dont feel death is approching her right now. I am nervous and excited for March sixth NAR is performing at SLC OTW and it will be a bunch of fun. I was talkign to a student teacher today about improv and he said to me "alot of people dont understand improv." I thought about it and I realize that it is so true. To me it seems that alot of people think improv is all about the funny but its not its about affecting people in anyway, with that said it is still very hard not to affect anyone without making them laugh I think the person I have seen do that the best is jarky. Thats all i have for today, any comments on todays journal please pm I love reading them and writing back.

Pirates went on AGAIN tonight and the actors had alot of energy but the audience unfortunatly did not. Of course there was some people that were awsome but overall the audience was a bit dull and it showed through our acting. Ok OK my big scene is called minor skermish and its my big fight scene and two other bad guys fight scenes and well the first one the person had missplaced a prop, unnoticable to the audience but not to the actors the second one was me even though it once agin looked fine to the audience I messed up I tripped my fight scene partner, the third scene was a sword fight a rather big one and there is a part where he grabs two swords and starts to spin them well one hit the other and one went flying off stage he had to run off and grab it. Oh and in one other scene a bad guy was supposed to get stabbed in the butt and got it in is...area. All in all it was a good performance, I am alittle worried about my aunt now my mom explained to me the details of what her surgery was its scary.

Short and Sweet

The closing night for Pirates was tonight and I dont think anyone could have asked for a better night, good audience great acting it ws phenomenal. I also bagged a show friday night at OTW ogden tommorow so that shoudl be fun and this saturday I amperforming at OTW SLC so that is exciting. My aunt is better no worries there. Oh and I was invited to come and do some improv at weber state that is pretty cool as well. I am really tired from the play but I will talk to you later.

Well pirates are over thankfully I am so tired from it. I had an improv show on Friday and its not that I didn’t do well I just didn’t live up to my standards. I also had an improv show last night and everyone on my team lived up to there standards, and we all had fun. Me and Alex have this game where we fight, all the time I think she might be serious. I have some things that are some bad things that have happen but I received a comment that my journal was too sad so I will stay away. Every time I am with Adam I feel just laid back because he has my back and I have his back on anything he would ever need. I love this kid a lot simply because he is a selfless person and he acts as a stress reliever. I hung out with Steve for the first time on Saturday I am never met a man so ridiculously funny, some of the stuff he was talking about was so awkward it was funny, I love doing improv with Steve and I hope he likes doing it with me and I hope we can do more of it in the future he is a great guy. That’s all I have for today.

Another day

Let's see life has been hectic even though the play was over on friday I was still busy up until yesterday. I had an improv show and OTW ogden after I put pirates on I didnt do so good, I am used to being the person that sticks out but on that show I didnt do much I supported and thats always good nothing super. On saturday though I had so much fun I didnt care how I did there was only three paying customers in the audience and the rest was improv peers (scared me to death) I decided to take adams advice and just have fun even thouh I had heard it before and always had fun the one show I didnt have fun at I didnt like myself in it. So that is my new motto. Today after school I went with my brother to do improv and weber state. They did all short form which wasnt that bad they did work on focusing and not breaking character. I had fun mainly because I met new people and hung out wiht my brother. If anyone from weber state is reading this my only tip is stay away form the toilet humor although it can be funny its a cheap way out if you avoid blue humor then it makes you think. I did meet an awsome improviser and his name is Devin he is one of my brothers firneds next time I see him I will try to convince him into coming out. He doesnt know much about long form but he seems eager and open minded and that really impressed me. Until next time.

Day in, Day out

What an odd week. Nothing happend during monday thru wensday but thursday night my friend had some serious famly problems and I had him stay at my house but I have a feeling this is only the start of these problems for him and yet all I can do for anyfriend is let them know that I am there for them. Oh I asked a girl to jr. prom yeah I dont have much money but it should be fun none the less. Adam I feel like I am not as wanted as I used to be with him I havent been out there very often lately but I still love the kid half to death and I am even missing his horrid girlfriend... alittle. (jk) well that is all I have to write today. I am sorry I havent been writting alot lately its because all my time goes into the thread in gay marriges vs alabama senators it is educational and I like it I just hope people there dont take offense to my opinion, I think that some of them think that just because of my opinion I live my life totally anti there opinion it hasnt been that bad but I pick up on vibes. Well see you later..

Thursday
Trolly brawl. I met some amazing people such as ryloc and jady and I perfromed which was a great experience, what an awsome night of improv I have never seen such a good night. I talked alot with one of my best friends whom with I talk to for hours Cami. We talked about alot of things and its very theraputic for me to talk to someone about anything. We had girl talk it was wierd but fun. she talked about her two crushes I talk about my three crushes. It was alot of fun.

Friday
Talked with the german kids taht are here for two weeks and we I took them out for ice cream then back to a friends house to show them what kool aid is. Oh and the couch that I bought to put in the back of my truck four days before friday was stolen.

Saturday
JR PROM I went with an awsome girl that is one of a kind and I think I might ask her on a date. We went paintballing and it was alot of fun we only got to play one game because she had a hair appointment. Then on the way home we ate at del taco her favorite place that confienently knew she liked. Then I went and played paintball in a secluded area that no one knows about with three other people and it was fun. Then I got in my tux and the limo which was late came and got me and we went and got all the couples. Then we went to Olive Garden and I had three bites before we had to leave so I got most of it in a to go box which we accidently left outside of olive garden. Then we went to the dance which was fun then after that we changed and went to my house to watch some movies where five minutes into it I fell asleep and so did my date. :up: It was so much fun I enjoyed every second of it.

I felt really bad that I couldnt go to trolly brawl becasue I had a family birthday party to go to. :nervous: Thats all I did today type to you later.

Guess whos back BABY!

Im back!!

I have been through the hardest part of my life so far, at the end of March my mother had a brain aynuerism and almost died I spent six weeks in the hospital 3 of which I didnt know if she would make it or not the other three was therapy she is home now I am still right next to her recovering with her. Enough about that back to improv. Austin Nava taught an awsome Harold class it was really good seeing him again and his class was awsome. Well until next time.

I am back with improv after a fe fights and a break up for awhile we are now a fucntioning couple. I have had a few shows lately and i have rediscovered my passion for it all thought it seems around here it has been dying off. well until next time.

Local scene

Improv is my love always has been. Thats why it kills me to see the local imrpov scene slowly disappear simply because people dont want to take time to go to practices they have forgot there roots who wouldnt want to practice.
Cami if you read this we need to hang out.
