I have been flooded with requests to coach groups, I wish I could coach all of them, I love working with new groups or groups looking to reinvent themselves.
My new level 4 at this time is low in attendence, because it is not a performance class people tend to shy away.
This is a chance for groups already out there performing or wanting to perform to take a class together and learn techniques to inhance their play.
The classs is Sat. 3-6 at the UCB Theater, it starts June 14th.

Take the class. If you don't feel as though you've learned something ask for a refund*.

I go into Billy's classes not thinking "What can Billy do for my improv, but what can I do for Billy's improv." How else do you think he avoids getting kicked off the Swarm?

Oh, and Billy gives out Altoids in class. You can take two and he won't say a word - he just crys a bit.

*You won't get a refund.

Billy Merritt was the driving force behind the best New Team I've ever been in. That, and he's funny fat. NOT SAD FAT!

If I wasn't already taking a class and strapped for cash, I'd take Billy Merritt's "Expanding your bag".

Take this class with Billy as a team. He is really good at introducing something and then emphsaizing it well enough so that something as abstract as improv techniques really become concrete. His exercises and ideas don't float away into nothing after working with him...I think he would be great at teaching math to special ed kids.
He breaks improv down really well to the point that I can visually imagine what a "tag flurry" looks like going into our bag. I will not tell you what I think that looks like. But I will tell you that Billy Merritt is magic. Magic.

These are kind words indeed, except for Zohar. Somhow I feel he wants something from me.
You will learn all sorts of improv Techniques, but the most important thing is the scenework, all of this is about great scenework. We learn all we can outside of the scene to make the scene better.
