Don't Break the Streak is in the process of producing an improv comedy telethon from Friday night through Sunday afternoon non-stop at a future date to be determined at a later date. We are doing this for the Children's Miracle Network and 100% of the money raised will go to the charity. BECAUSE this is for a charity event it's not a paid gig. HOWEVER, it will be highly publicized in the media and we're trying to work a partnership with one of the TV stations to actually broadcast it. Then we could have a phone bank for call in donations and promote the event in-between regular shows to help promote it.
We would have 40 hours to cover from Friday 8PM - Sunday noon. I'm also going to try and get some local hotels to donate rooms so any performer working the telethon could also stay for free.
We are in the early stages at this point and I will update this thread as info becomes available.
