What is this????
Lansdowne - 12 miles west of Center City. EASILY accessible by Septa R3 Media/Elwyn line OR several bus routes. Drive a car? NO PROBLEM there's parking a plenty and it's FREE in the evening.
You or someone you know has wanted to take an introductory improv class but you *hate* going into THE CITY. You keep wishing that a class would be offered closer *to home*
Well the 1 square mile borough of Lansdowne heard your plea. That's right LANSDOWNE. It's tiny, it's often confused with Lans
dale about 45 mins away and still it manages to keep a sunny and optimistic outlook on life. It has a really awesome farmers market from May - Oct, and a neat little cafe, and tiny movie theater, and a swanky upscale restaurant.
Yes my friends, Lansdowne is s-l-o-w-l-y transforming itself into an arts-town.
Last year The Borough invited me to teach an Intro to Improv class for adults. And now it is finally happening. This will be a beginners level class and is open to all. You do NOT need to be a resident of Lansdowne to take the class. You DO need to
download the registration form and snail mail it back with your check/money order.
