This is a real opportunity. No bull. There is a new show on TLC (can't give many details yet) that I have become involved with. I have been asked to help with certain casting needs. I'd like to involve the UCB as much as possible, so this is what they are looking for:
Any veteran improvisors who have a background in carpentry/masonry/electrician/etc. A sort of "hands-on," Uber-DYI'er. Can you frame a wall? Can you re-wire a kitchen? That sort of thing.
There is also a need for accredited comedy writers and senior producers.
The producer has to have several years of experience packaging, managing and producing a series show.
Comedy writers should have at least several credits in print and television.
I am not the one actually doing the casting. I repeat, I AM NOT the one doing the casting. I am involved in the project to this point. I really can't say much more than that.
If you feel you have any or all of these skills, please forward me your resume and contact info as soon as you can.
Thanks,
mark
