Stirring up controversy...

Has anyone else noticed that if the Swarm should be able to defeat Pound, Respecto, and Dr. Awesome, they will step into the cage against MOTHER (the team that stopped their last streak) on August 23rd.

IF this happens, both teams will enter tied for the most wins in the history of the cagematch NYC (12)

The Swarm will have 1 fewer loss (5) than Mother (6).

interesting...

Eason, a member of the World Championship* Cagematch team is afraid of the Swarm?

*As far as we know, East Coast and Midwest Divisions.

afraid? no.

trying to employ a little pre-emptive deterrence? yes.

The best way to avoid a world war or nuclear firestorm is through detente' and/or deterrence.

Shouldn't there be a second asterix in the statement? I think you know what I'm talking about, Cageboy. But I'm with Eason -- we don't want to see anybody DIE here. I mean, we're not a bunch of APES. Hey, let's make every thread about Planet of the Apes this week, huh?

Deep Throat

A source of the highest authority intimated yesterday that The Swarm would be retiring from Cagematch after Thursday's showdown in the squared circle.
Is this true?

We all want to see Eason receive some sort of punishment for past Cagematch trangressions (especially that clock fiasco with the Swarm. That still burns me up. Grrrrrrrr!!!)

Secunda pointed out the need for an additional asterisk. Ha ha ha!!!
