Just a reminder that the i.O. South Training Center classes begin this coming weekend. If you haven’t already enrolled with one of the most prestigious improv training icons, than you’re missing out. The world-famous I.O. theaters in Chicago and Los Angeles are the epicenter of training in the art of improvisation. They act as a recruiting stop for television shows like "Saturday Night Live," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and "MADtv," supplying New York and Hollywood with writers and performers. Actors and comedians such as Mike Myers, Amy Poehler, Andy Richter, Horatio Sanz, and Vince Vaughn have all trained at the prestigious i.O. Chicago Theater.
Jason Shotts will be the level 1 instructor. He has been performing improv and sketch comedy all around Chicago. Currently, he performs with Otis at i.O. (www.iochicago.net) and Atticus Finch at the Playground (www.the-playground.com). He is also the coach of the i.O. team, Rumspringa. His sketch group, Sketchcore (www.sketchcore.com), recently performed at Chicago's Sketchfest and is currently running a show "Urban Legends" at the Oracle Theater.
