I'm flying in this sunday at 3:30. Does anybody know about taking a train back to Manhattan from there? Or how about a ride, anybody got one of those?

it's an awesome and efficient thing, that train. new and clean. the doors open automatically on the monorail. soothing prerecorded voices. take it. love it. $11.

follow the signs to "air train" or "air link" or air something.

There's also the airport buses (they keep changing names...Olympia, Carey, NY Airport Shuttle....) that drop off at Penn Station, Port Authority and Grand Central. About $12, I believe they go about twice an hour. The train is best for beating traffic, though, and a nicer ride.

True, but those busses are pretty sweet, too. They have the advantage of not requiring you to change from the monorail to the regular train. One time my friend and I got on at 34th and we were the only ones on the whole bus. We were like rock stars, the driver joked.

I  Newark airport. New York airports: :puke:

True, but I gotta stick up for the family business (Amtrak!)

About the airports - I completely agree, Dan!
