Improv Resource Center - Forums
Hi! Thanks for coming to my coaching post! Allow me to pitch myself to you. First, would you like a lemonade? Too bad.
Back to me: I am currently a member of UCB Harold Team 'The Opera' and perform regularly with my indie teams 'The Brood' and 'Boys Club for Men.' I also have performed on multiple coasts with my two-woman team 'LapCox' (I am obsessed with two-prov.) I have studied under Kevin Hines, Porter Mason, Shannon O'Neill, Achilles Stametelakey, Chris Gethard, Anthony King, and about a million more.
Here is what I know: Improv is FUN. Improv is hard. Game is elusive, trusting other people on stage is terrifying, knowing how to mime holding a gun when you've never held a real one is tricky.
I want to show you how keeping it simple, trusting your gut, and actually allowing yourself to create something organically with a group of people can be the most mind-blowingly satisfying thing in the whole world.
Oh, also, let's have so much freaking fun.
