Hi! Thanks for coming to my coaching post! Allow me to pitch myself to you. First, would you like a lemonade? Too bad.

Back to me: I am currently a member of UCB Harold Team 'The Opera' and perform regularly with my indie teams 'The Brood' and 'Boys Club for Men.' I also have performed on multiple coasts with my two-woman team 'LapCox' (I am obsessed with two-prov.) I have studied under Kevin Hines, Porter Mason, Shannon O'Neill, Achilles Stametelakey, Chris Gethard, Anthony King, and about a million more.

Here is what I know: Improv is FUN. Improv is hard. Game is elusive, trusting other people on stage is terrifying, knowing how to mime holding a gun when you've never held a real one is tricky.

I want to show you how keeping it simple, trusting your gut, and actually allowing yourself to create something organically with a group of people can be the most mind-blowingly satisfying thing in the whole world.

Oh, also, let's have so much freaking fun.

I've been improvising with Laura for over a year. She is my best friend and favorite person to be on stage with. Laura has dedicated herself to being amazing and it was fun to watch her get there.:love:

She is outstanding. Period. She makes amazing comedic choices. She gets game and knows how to recognize wants fun in a scene. If you wanna be a supportive, smart, and fearless improviser, Hire Laura.:love:

Allow me to back up Laura.

She's the sweetest and awesomest person to do improv with. Performing with her makes one feel comfortable and trusted. If you choose her as your coach, not only will you feel that love, but you'll learn from someone who is extremely supportive, helpful, and damn good at the stuff.

I was lucky enough to start the UCB with this fearless woman and have seen her do some amazing shit.

She's smart and she's silly, she's playful and she's serious, she's tough and she's nurturing, she's tall and she's short. An all around player that I'm lucky to have as a teammate.

If you find yourself handing Laura Wilcox money, its almost guaranteed you're doing the right thing.

Plus, once you get to know her, you'll be able to pun one of the most punnable names in the world.

I was once in a Delightful Person contest with Laura Willcox. She won. And then she didn't even brag. In fact, she took me out for pie afterward because I was disqualified. She won't ever show you the trophy she won, either. She's too modest. But it's a BIG trophy.

Go see The Opera on Harold Night and watch Laura kick ass and then ask yourself: "Do I want to play with that kind of confidence and control?" If the answer is "Duh", then hire Laura. You will not be sorry.

Have you ever have that scene partner that you know going into the scene it's just going to be fun? Have you ever made a move that you know was probably not the smartest move but had your scene partner easily justify it? Have you ever had a scene partner so crisply say "bee-boop" and make succulent farting noises? Laura is that scene partner. And the Law Offices of Laura Willcox might be just what you need to learn how to be a super supportive and smart improviser.

There's something to be said about people that make you feel comfortable and confident in scenes. Hire this chica.

Hi guys - bumping this lil thread to say I am available to coach daytimes AND nighttimes. Best nights for me are Wednesdays-Sundays! Best days for me are MOST DAYS!
