I have changed the procedure to make it easier for people to start new improv journals, since I know the old procedure occasionally would be frustrating to poeple. We have three new moderators (Jesster, gktkd, GoldDustWoman) who will can approve you to be a improv journal writer. To start a journal do the following:
Please apply under your "main" account. Secret journals under secondary accounts or bit accounts are not encouraged. Also, your topics can be about whatever you like, whether personal or not, or about improv or not. However this is for Improvisors, not a general journal spot, so if you have come here and adopted this message board for other reasons, please do not apply to be an improv journal writer. There are plenty of good places to start a journal or blog on the net, please find one of them if you are not an improvisor on some level.
- Go to your User CP and click on Group Memberships.
- Click on Join Group under Improv Journals.
- In your reason for starting a new journal, please briefly describe what kind of a journal you want to create.
- Within a few days you should get approved and after that, just post a new thread in the Journals by Improvisors forum.
