for the info of anyone who wants to post a table, is create the table in Excel, and then use it as a source document for a mail merge in Word. Choose the "catalog" formatting. It's not a table, but it's as good as you can get sans HTML, I think (Courier font would require padding with spaces to make the columns line up).
