Hi everyone,

PHIT is pretty excited to have former SNL cast member Horatio Sanz hitting our stage (at The Adrienne Theatre Main Stage) next month. Hopefully this is just the first of many higher profile bookings we'll have throughout the rest of 2010... although we don't have anything else to announce just yet. Complete details, as well as advance tix are available at

http://www.phillyimprovtheater.com/horatiosanz.html

Also worth mentioning right here are two workshops that will be taught by members of the All-Stars on Saturday 5/15 and Sunday 5/16 as part of this weekend. The instructors are Neil Casey (Saturday) and Anthony Atamanuik (Sunday), who are both on the cast of Death by Roo Roo at the UCB NY. These workshops are gonna be absolutely 'effin fantastic, and if you want to push yourself to greater heights as an improviser we definitely recommend signing up!

Ditto! Well, done PHIT = )

I'm also curious about Mike's question -- do you know who his Kings are? Are Anthony and Neil doing the shows as well as the workshops.

Very excited for the show, and the workshops. Thanks, PHIT, for bringing down improvisers of that calibur.

Quick question for anyone who could answer it: are Neil and Anthony teaching the same workshop (as far as what they're going to focus on)? I notice that the workshop descriptions are identical. Also, how many slots for each?

To my knowledge Anthony and Neil are playing in at the shows. As for the workshops they are on whatever the instructors want to cover, so they will probably be similar but not identical. (And they're limited to 16 people each).

Does the cancellation of Horatio's show mean that Neil Casey and Anthony Atamanuik's workshops are no longer happening? Can anyone chime in on this?

We know by now that Horatio's cancellation also means that Neil and Anthony's workshops are cancelled too. But I think you should all check Neil and Anthony out in their Death by Roo Roo show 9pm every saturday at UCB NY. It's fantastic.

Does anyone want to meet at Bards or something before the show on Saturday night? Say 6:30? I am open to suggestions too. If no one replies, I will just eat at home before I head over to the Adrienne.
