Hoedown sheet music

Hal Phillips

I Am Hal Phillips

Cherry Pez, Coke, Crush Rock, Stud Boogie
Used to hate school, so I had to play hookie
Always been hip to the B-boy style
Known to act wild and make a girl smile
Love New Edition and the "Candy Girl"
Remind me of you because you rock my world
You come from Georgia where the peaches grow
They drink lemonade and speak real slow
You love hip-hop and rock 'n' roll
Dad took off when you were 4 years old
There was a good man named Paul Revere
I feel much better, baby, when you're near
You love Fun Dip and Cherry Coke
I like the way you laugh when I tell a joke
When I met you, I said my name is Rich
You look like a girl from Abercrombie and Fitch.

I bought a looping pedal and put it, plus something I call "Hoedown infinite loop," on it. Really makes Hoedown fun and ceaselessly challenging!

whose line is it anyway?

I have a great version of it. I converted the midi file into sheet music with a program I have.
I've been asked to play it for our group's next performance. I'm excited!
I will scan it and email for anyone who would like it.

piano tabs
Piano tabs? TABS??

Pianists do not use "tablature". Tabs are for our simple, retarded country cousins on the git-ar. As pianists, we can read and extrapolate things like Am7. On a piano, *I* choose what positions I play in, not follow some 'tab' guide to say 'put yer fingers on this here part'.

Hmpf.

Piano tabs.
