Harold Night Highlights September 30th

It was a good one last night .....

Decoster - Revolving Door why pattern. The meta Continental plane crash group game where everybody identified what role they were playing in the scene. Kirk: "I'm Joey straightman." Decoster:"I'm the president of this company. Pie chart, line graph, blabbity blah blah, directive." Decoster tying Kirk's straight man role into the blackout.

F-ing Kennedy's - They really played harold tight last night. Great to see Nick Ross back on the scene playing awesome animals. They used everything that came up throughout and blacking out on Smith's duel-instigating Ivy leaguer. And they had some great mudslide bits.

The Scam - A Centurion morning show! I mean, come on! Porter counting back V...IV...III - brilliant. The Flint Michigan Museum of art - Risa "Hey! Who here has an Associate's degree in Art History? (everyone raises their hand)" Tuculescu glided in seamlessly.

Bastian - Adam and Brian's slacker rich kids were hilarious. John Murray's wholesome nun-wannabe and Brandon's past-revealing back-up singer for the Doobie Brothers dad. Adam Frucci as a Home Economics professor to Vlad, The Impaler - "You have to learn to make bread!"

Bangs - Great set for the last slot of the night. So hard to do and they did it so well. Rowin's "I need to buy a dildo for my dog." Craig and Pat's "How to do a transaction scene and make it work when it's about a dildo for my dog." Mike Still's borderline retarded Yu-Gi-Oh kid in the second group game. And, of course, Chelsea's black out singing/yowling line as Rowin's dog in what I can only assume was a coming out song.

Just an awesome night by all groups.

The mudslide drink special was my favorite moment of the night, I think.

agreed with all that's come before in this highlights thread. also mike still's reactions all night were fucking committed and unexpected while also being on game and totally hilarious. i am often impressed and smitten by his work onstage (and offstage if you gnomesayin') but i was EXTRA hit by it last night.

also, i'd love to add the joy i could see in the new h-night returnees (and teammate's) faces was so great to see. so glad to have greg and nick back, for realz.
