Some incredible shows tonight provided for some great highlights.

- Bastion's ghost scenes

- The Scam's "dying wish" scene

- Dave Siegel - "See, I started with a horse thing."

- The Scam scene where the kiddie pool life guard let Jeff Hiller almost die

Two moments really made my night:

- Matt Decoster suppressing the urge to throttle someone for a third time.

- Ragnarok's yes/no indecisive scene when Erik Dies asked for a seat at the end and Emily Axford pushed one out and then immediately pulled it back. Incredible.

The shit-eating grin on Kevin Hines' face as he played the lifeguard for the "adult pool." I kept waiting for it to come back in the second beat but, alas, it never did.

Erik Tanouye's many references to obscure Jack Nicholson movies. I was impressed by his ability to access that information...and the fact that one person had seen so many obscure Jack Nicholson movies. When I asked him how he was able to make so many bizarre references, his answer was also great: "Netflix." Duh.

Ryan Karel's sound effects while putting away lubricated books.

Anything Jeff Hiller did.

Maggie and Molly's super-perky people getting pulled over by the police, then playing and singing along to "Bad Boys" on the stereo.

I love the idea of The Scam's neighborhood full of people in Witness Protection, even Jack Nicholson.

Even though I walked in on the middle of it, I was cracking up at DC and Kirk playing stooges that wrote Meat Loaf's songs.

"It's a 15-minute song about speeding away from a monstah on a moty-cycle!"

Molly Lloyd's "fuzzy-wuzzy" comment after being pulled over, but right before singing Bad Boys.

Adam Frucci to Maggie's palm tree decals: "Because they're just obnoxious, not illegal!"

I loved Emily Axford's indecisive-chair move. But, she didn't pull it back immediately, btw! She left it out for a split second, made eye-contact with the two performers, then steadily pulled it back with a straight face. Bravo.

kevin hines was on fire last night, making everyone witness protection people and then being the awesome lifeguard. The smitten swimmers were such fun and immediate support.
