DRE: So do you think the success of the UCB name has done anything for you?
MB: It’s weird because I will be on an audition and someone will read my resume and go “Oh you’ve been a student at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre?” I’m like “No, I’m not a student.” I don’t think people give you acting jobs because you own a theatre. I’m glad it has a good reputation, but I don’t know if it’s helped my acting career.
