Got Your Back would like to thank everyone who supported our first annual Halloween party at the Playground Theater. We drank some beer, we read some stats, and we saw some great improvisation thanks to Stat, Mustang Repair, Flambango, and Plain Cake Donuts. Got Your Back would like to thank each of the teams that performed as well as the Playground Theater for hosting the Got Your Back fundraiser.
After weeks of tabulations--hey, there was a lot of change--Got Your Back is pleased to announce that we raised $411 for our organization! Thanks to all who donated, especially those who passed along five or ten dollars after the event. For those who asked about donating to a Got Your Back paypal account, we're working on it! We'll definitely keep you posted.
Now that we have a little change in our pockets, we are moving forward on our first major project--a GOT YOUR BACK website with resources, advice, and factsheets written by improvisers for improvisers. We are looking for researchers, web designers, writers, artists, and just about anyone else who is interested in serving on our web site committee. Just send us an e-mail at gotyourbackchicago@yahoo.com to find out more about volunteering!
