If you've been in Chelsea over the past 6mos, you've undoubtedly seen the anti-gay "Gays Give Rabies" or "Gays Die Mad Dog Deaths" mentally ill graffiti that's covered phone booths & ads/kiosks.

This is the guy responsible. My gf and I saw him flyering this morning on 6th Ave. He was not happy about having his picture taken. He literally ran away from us across 6th Ave.

normally, he scrawls across ads with a fat magic marker. i first started seeing defaced ads for "here tv" - cuz it's a gay network. but i've also seen the messages on a valerie bertinelli/jenny craig ad, which was pretty amazing...

The program is working now. The other day they arrested a guy for scratch graffiti on a train from a cell phone picture. It was on the news for both channel 4 and 5, I think on Friday.

people are rightfully angry. this flyer shit and his graffiti shit have been defacing ads in a predominantly gay neighborhood for over 6mos. just because the person who wrote it is disturbed, doesn't make it any less infuriating and hateful.

last night I saw one that had nothing to do with Gays, but was clearly from the same guy. It said something about Bo Pepe needing to be protected. I think he meant Bo Peep unless there's a Bo Pepe I don't know about.
