Just got this in my email:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, starting Monday, April 7th, everyone entering 520 Eighth Avenue, home of Ripley-Grier Studios, must present a government-issued photo I.D.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This is not our decision, or the buildings, but comes from the property management company, Newmark Knight Frank.

Yeah security is pretty tight at that place. A couple of Mondays ago the guard wasn't at the desk, but there was a written sign telling us to wait for the guard to get back. So we were all like "Huh? What the hell?"

Crazy, man.

We actually rehearse in a team members' office that happens to be in the same building on a different floor, but we just tell the dude we're headed to Ripley-Greer because it's less of a pain in the ass to explain.

Such is the impregnable, fortress-like security of 520 8th ave.

and on the same lines, most people have no idea where they are going so the security guy always sends them to me and i have to magically know where to send these losties in a 25-story office building.

also, Ben, i requested security in my building to protect me from the PIT Assassin game.
