I think it's illegal to eat on a PATH train.

i remember back in the day they had this tunnel in between manhattan and exchange place where they had an ad for futorama or some cartoon in the tunnel but it was a series of pictures so it would look like a flip book.

Jersey City is tough but it's tougher to go about on Staten Island and certain parts of Queens. I was raised here and still hate going into those confusing parts of Queens. Ever notice that in Queens you'd see -- for example -- 73rd St., then 73rd Rd., then 73rd Drive, one after another before you can get to 74th St? It takes 15 minutes to go up a street.

No fair...you can only vote for one.
I ONLY date people from the Upper East Side, specfically Park Avenue between E 61st and E 76st.
(I don't get out much).

You people would go all the way into the Bronx?
Oh, you mean would you date someone who lived in a certain area? When you said from a certain borough/area I thought it was implied that they were born and raised there, but did not necessarily live there. True to my vote, i would definitely not date someone from Staten Island, regardless of where she lived now.

If distance is the issue, I would prefer not to date someone who lived more than a 45 minute train ride away. That leaves out the Bronx, Staten Island, most of Brooklyn, and depending on how the trains are running, anywhere in Jersey.

This is why I hate Queens.

As far as the other boroughs go...

Screw 'em.

If the boy doesn't live in Windsor Terrace, Kensington, Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill or Cobble Hill- forget it.

Words to live by, ladies.

This thread is bullshit. New York City and the surrounding area has plenty to offer in both the cutural and personal realms. Here are my reasons why:

The Bronx girls have flava, if you're not down with that it's your loss pappy.

There's nothing wrong with a lady from Jersey City as long as she comes into the city any day other then Saturday night.

Tons of lovely women from UCB live in Astoria + you can get good breakfast in the morning.

I was raised by women from Queens, so don't you dare talk smack.

Williamsburg has the hipster girls, they have cute hair and you can always talk to them about tatoos!

Sure the gals from Bay Ridge can be loud and the broads from Bensonhurst are tuff but you have to be a real man to get down in Billytown.

Girls from Staten Island have cars.

Manhatten chicks are usually from somewhere else, if you have nothing to say to a women just ask where they're from.

Upper East Side Girls live up there and hang out up there. If you want a pointy toed sugar-mommy prepare to pay for a lot of taxis.

If you wouldn't date someone from Inwood you're either a pussy or a racist.

I disagree with the breakout of Astoria in this poll. I dated someone who lived there once for like a second. It's a pain in the ass, I wouldn't do it again. It takes for-fuckin-ever to get there from loverly Cobble Hill.

And I don't get the break out of Williamsburg...is that b/c people who live there are unbearable? Or because there is that one shitty train that goes there?

Actually, you know what? I don't get this poll at all.

Wait, I do. I voted Staten Island.
