Jeff Michalski is a legendary improv and sketch director. He founded the Second City ETC and co-founded The Second City Training Center In his nearly forty year career, he's trained and directed innumerable comedy stars, including megastars Stephen Colbert, Christ Farley, Bill Murray, Mike Myers and many, many more.
He was a student of Del Close and Jo Forsberg and has directed comedy all over the world, including Chicago, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York and Ireland. He's founded two theaters aside from the Second City, one of which was host to the original incarnations of Mr. Show. He's appeared in nearly 30 hollywood films and was a writer for Comedy Central's Exit 57 and a correspondent for Michael Moore's TV Nation.
