World Without Tears is Williams' much-anticipated follow-up to her critically acclaimed Essence. The Jayhawks' latest, Rainy Day Music, begins the next chapter in the storied career of a band readily cited as a pioneer of the "alt country" sound.

Come hear the new albums. Have a drink (beer for just $2). Lots of Williams and Jayhawks merchandise to give away, including tickets to see both acts live, as well as merch from The Onion. The albums don't officially go on sale until April 8th, but you can buy advance copies at Rodeo Bar at 9 p.m.

Those albums make me proud to be an American.
