Be Here Now with Rachel Hamilton
Introducing Rachel Hamilton's Master class, for experienced Improvisers who want to explore their work more deeply. Leaving behind the tried and true techniques that have become our standard choices on stage, we will take the risk to play with even more truth, more commitment and more connection to our partner and to the present moment. Each week, class will have a different focus designed to stretch and expand the individual improvisers as well as the ensemble in a space where it is safe to "fail." Prerequisite: Level Two or equivalent experience. Limit 15 students.

Deal With It with Mark Grenier
As improvisers, we often expect others to play by certain rules and we get frustrated when teammates don't meet our expectations. Sometimes we need a reminder that the improviser's job is to accept - to accept everything and to embrace every contribution as a gift. Your ability to "yes and" is truly tested when encountering the unusual, the unexpected, and the undesired. In this workshop you'll be confronted with things you may despise - questions, denials, curve balls, poor listening, bad object work, selfish partners, and complete stupidity - and you'll learn ways to not just accept it but to make magic out of it. Stop wishing for the ideal partner and deal with it. 3 weeks. Prerequisite: Level One or equivalent experience. Limit 14 students.
Instructor: Mark Grenier
