Horatio Sanz, Bassprov and UCBT looks to be a huge rockstar event at the 7th annual Dirty South Improv Festival. A limited number of $10 tickets will be made available to festival participants at check-in.

Don't wait to see if tickets are available at the door; order yours in advance (Shows at The Artscenter are available using Etix.com / Shows at DSI Comedy Theater, DSI Studio and Cat's Cradle are available using Ticketweb.com). Last year many of our shows were completely sold out and we anticipate an even greater turnout this year, so skip to the front of the line with advanced reservations.

Your ID badge will grant you access to ALL shows for FREE (except for Horatio Sanz). Seats will open up to audience with festival ID badge 5 minutes before showtime. If you want to confirm seats for any festival shows (recommended for some shows listed below) you can purchase $5 tickets on the day of the show at the DSI Comedy Theater Box Office.

Were we supposed to have gotten our workshop information yet?

Also, wasn't Neutrino Project supposed to perform? Am I mistaken or could they not come?

- Workshop information resent to contact@rarebirdshow.
- Neutrino was replaced a couple weeks ago (sad, but representation was missing from New York and Chicago so we decided to change the schedule).

That gave us the opportunity to book Douglas Sarine from AskANinja.com to both teach Saturday Workshops and perform an All-Star show on Saturday.

thanks a lot.

I'm sad that I won't be able to see Neutrino. I was looking forward to it, but I guess I could just get up to NYC or down to DC some time.

I guess my group is performing at the same time as Horatio. So...hopefully people will still come to our show! Haha. I'm sad that I won't get to see his show, though. Oh well.

350 TICKETS SOLD FOR HORATIO

Less than 50 $10 performer tickets left (you must present performer ID badge when using a performer ticket for this show). Buy them when you check-in. DSIF7 opening night was SOLD OUT and a hilarious show. Looking forward to the rest of the week...

Due to circumstances beyond our control, DSI has had to find a replacement for Horatio Sanz at Cat's Cradle on Friday Feb. 9th (that's tonight... just over 12 hours from now) as the featured act during the 7th annual Dirty South Improv Festival. We received a call this afternoon that Horatio would be unable to perform for health reasons. Our thoughts go out to him for a speedy recovery. In the spirit of live theater, the show must go on. And it will. And, staying true to the spirit of improvisation, Horatio's agent delivered a huge YesAnd soon after calling with the news. Shortly after midnight, fellow comedian Louis CK stepped up to headline the show and save the day.
