DSI CageMatch is rolling into May, and it needs the fresh blood of new teams to fuel its soulless engine. Do you dare step into the cage and try to knock off the champion?
- Get your team together and send the full roster and team name to jennings@dsicomedytheater.com before April 20th. Old teams, new teams, it doesn't matter. (If some of the team members have scheduling conflicts, indicate that and we'll do our best. If you have more than one conflict in May, you won't be scheduled.) The schedule for May will be announced on April 21st.
- Each team gets 22 minutes to perform longform improvisation, no more, no less. A clock onstage will count it down, and at 22 minutes, the lights go out.
- A secret ballot vote of the audience decides the winner. Stacking the audience is not only allowed, it's encouraged. The winner returns to perform next week against a new challenger.
- Registration is FREE for DSI Company members. Non-members may register for $15, which is due the night you are a challenger. All champions play for free. Registered non-members also get in to ALL CageMatch shows that month for free, so you can scout the competition.
