This Friday, February 7th, at 10:30 pm like every first Friday of the month, Raleigh's only movie-improvising comedy troupe, The Double Feature, hits the ComedyWorx stage again to deliver a complete movie experience(except our movies are performed live on stage.)
Bring your suggestion for the film style you'd like to see, and it could join the Double Feature's celluloid library alongside such classics as Dueling Desperado Diaries, Inspirational Medical Story, Deli Musical, Sushi Bar Crime Scene Investigation, Hip-Hop Shakespeare, Mystery of the Broken Gourd, Intergalactic Space Wars, German Zombie Film, Father-Son Vampire Melodrama, Redneck Murder Mystery, Weird Third Arm and Southern Belle Rampage.
During the show the cast selects two genres from all the audience suggestions and performs a 20-30 minute improvised mini-movie of each. Plus, you get to see a multimedia extravaganza of movie-like features such as hilarious fake movie trailers, commercial parodies and pre-show slides. You get this all for the low, low price of $5!
Don't have anything fun to do late Friday night, then come out and see The Double Feature. It's improv Tylenol for your Oscar Fever.
