DCM Body Count

I am doing an improv body count for DCM and pre-DCM shows.

To count deaths must occurr on stage or off stage during the show. Mentions of dead spouses, children, etc. don't count. Nor do bodies that are there at the start of scenes.

Here's where Day 1 and Day 2 can be found.

If anyone spots deaths (and remembers in their sleep deprived/drunk state) feel free to send me a message here, post in this thread, or comment on the blog. I probably won't get around to compiling it all until Monday/Tuesday.

For Improvised Shakespeare (in your day 1 entry), the entire French army committed suicide offstage. The last two were killed by the fool while they tortured the girls.

"Ewww" death: Being killed by a baby with a power sander.

Little league pitcher (Michael Delaney) battered to death by little league batter. Body carried off by buzzard.

Shakespeare, 8/6: Arab suitor falls for the uglier of two sisters due to a magic cloak given the girl by a mysterious tailor. On the day of the wedding, the sister decides the Arab must love her without spells and charms, and removes the cloak. The Arab, no longer attracted to the sister and dismayed at having been deceived by a Christian nation, kills himself with his own dagger.

Anna - love is harder to quantify than death. Do we just count physical acts of love? How do we define that? Is a kiss love, or is it the equivalent on the other side as a punch to the face? So is it only intercourse? Certainly love can occure between members of the same gender! Is masturbating than equal to suicide? And we certain can't count rape. What about the love for a mother for her child? Or a child for a dog?

Death is easy.

I could quite remember. I pulled out my notebook and then got entranced by the tragedy unfolding on stage. So so good.

Rogue Elephant - There were apx 18 shootin' deaths and at least one suicide, one additional off stage death [the body carried on stage-carrier of the body then also shot; person who shot the carrier then shot as well, etc etc]

Thank you Sarah! I was taking pictures at Rogue and tried to keep track in my head but I lost track around 5.

I am trying to sort through my horrible and lazy and drunk notes now. I think I lost three pages somewhere so some of it is also by memory.

I think there had to have been at least 15 deaths in the PCR show. A lot of sketches were ended by sniper fire.
