My name is David Rosenberg, and I'm a pretty nice guy. I'd also love to coach your improv team/practice group, and I'd love to do it for a VERY VERY reasonable rate. Coaching is fun, and I enjoy it, so I'm not gonna charge a lot of money for it. In fact, I'll charge next to nothing.
You may have seen me in the ASP show The Movie, or the upcoming Approximately. I also perform with the teams Daddy Long Legs, Marquee and Fast Tractor. I've been taking classes at the theater since March 2010, and I've learned from some of the best, including: Chris Gethard, Neil Casey, Dyna Moe, Brandon Gardner, Kevin Hines, Gavin Speiller, Ari Voukydis, Chelsea Clarke, Doug Moe, and Mike Still. I also took a workshop once with Ian Roberts. It was awesome.
What am I into? Well I'd love to work with you on supporting each other, on making big choices right up top and on being brave in your scenes and trusting that the performer opposite you will protect you. I'm also big on acting your scenes and committing to them hard. So if you need help committing to characters or with your acting in scenes, I can totally tailor some exercises to help you.
I know a bunch of forms I can help you learn, and I especially LOVE The Movie, so if you want someone to teach you The Movie, I am your man. I love that shit. I'll even draft you a list of important movies to watch in conventional and unconventional genres.
