On Saturday December 11 from 1 - 4 pm I will be doing a one day workshop based on my Puppetry 101 for Improv Performers class.This workshop covers the basics of mouth & rod style puppetry - Eye focus, Mouth Synchronization, Rod Manipulation, Basic Stance and Walks etc. - and how to incorporate these skills with the mechanics of long-form improv.
Completion of at least one Level 1 long-form improv class from The UCB Training Center, Magnet Theater or equivalent is required to take this workshop. (Yes, college courses count!)
Class size: 10 -12 students Cost:$35
I will be providing puppets to be used at both workshops. I will also be providing "practice eyes" that each student will get to keep
