I wish I coulda been there you guys!!! If there was one place I wanted to be last night it was at Clark and Addison!!!

I'm wearin' my floppy hat until we go all the way!

You wouldn't believe how many Cubs fans there are here in L.A., and they're not all from Chicago! Everyone is rooting for them!

I have one friend who is SOMEhow going to the game at Wrigley on Wed. I'm SO jealous!
Any stories from last night? Anyone on the street?

i watched the steelers game on a big tv and the cubs game on a little tv (with no sound and rabbit ears) at my friend pete's.

people were beeping. my semi-intoxicated roommates and i were yelling "Buccos in 05!"

i'm happy for cubs and their fans, but i like the steelers better. i'll watch the rest of the games tho.

go cubs and steelers.

I live a few blocks away from Wrigley Field. When they won, people were setting off fireworks and driving by and honking their horns. Everyone, including myself, went out on their front porches and started screaming. My roommates and I walked over to Clark and Addison and it was insane! I really have never seen anything like that, since I wasn't here when the Bulls won. They had the street blocked off and there were just thousands of very happy people cheering. The Cubby Bear was blasting music out on the street. So many very happy people. From my house I could hear the celebration until 330am, then it started to taper off.

I don't know what's going to happen to IO this week (since its right across from the field). I have a show on Tuesday - the night of the first game in the series. No one is coming to the show, I'm sure. Getting out of the theatre at 1030-11, when the game is letting out is going to be insane. I had shows Friday and Saturday nights, when they played here. It was unbelieveable, just trying to get in the theatre.

Very exciting stuff!

I WAS there during the whole Bulls thing (except 98 when I moved to L.A.) so I can imagine. But the Cubs are different. There is a history and a long-suffering factor that you didn't have with the Bulls. With them it was more of a "Yay! We finally have A winning team!"
With the Cubs it's like...a...way of life....
I wish I'd been there!
