Craig Can Coach

#1
Hi Everyone,

My name's Craig Rowin, and I'm a member of the UCB Harold Team Twelve Thousand Dollars. I was also a member of Blackout (who did Harolds in the dark for a run at UCB) and am in the independent group Sherpa.

I have taken classes at UCB since 2003 with improv titans Owen Burke, Chad Carter, Jason Mantzoukas, Michael Delaney, Chris Gethard, Christina Gausus and a workshop with Matt Besser. I have been coached by tons of great people as well.

I am not completely new to coaching; I led my long form improv group, the Scuds, for 2 years in college. I am looking to enter coaching with the goals of making practices fun and focused. I think its great for a team to have collective goals, and work on them as a group.

I am currently available on Monday nights, Friday nights and various times on the weekends. Also, during the next few weeks I am open during week days. My Thursday nights will also be open in a few weeks.

You can email me at craigrow AT gmail DOT com.

If I may take the mic for a moment--Craig is a tremendous improviser with a razor-sharp mind. His keen grasp of game, his ability to find it quickly and heighten without abandon is awesome. Most importantly, Craig loves this stuff, has fun doing it, and will bring that fun to your team! Book him now, folks! Book him!

I used to have a rule that I didn't endorse friends/teammates on coaching threads, just people who had actually coached me. I'm breaking it. And I'm glad I'm breaking it, because it means I get to recommend Craig.

I've been on a team with Craig for almost two years, and he's one of the funniest motherfuckers I've ever met. I was impressed with him when I met him, and have been more and more impressed as time has gone on. And from talking to him about improv, I know that he understands it inside and out. Homeboy really gets it. Even just listening to him talk about a show we've seen makes me feel like whoever performed it should be paying him to hear his thoughts. If you don't hire Craig as a coach, that's your loss, bro.

Craig is so fun and funny and patient. He's an excellent director and coach. Hire him immediately!
Stop me sometime and I'll tell you about the funniest improv scene I've ever seen, it revolved around craig. I am literally laughing out loud about it now. And my dog just died! just kidding. hire him.
