Beth Saunders, a television producer, and Ali Farahnakian, an actor, were married yesterday evening at the Beekman Tower Hotel in New York. The Rev. Susan Turchin, an interfaith minister, officiated.

The bride, 29, will continue to use her name professionally. She is the writer and a producer of "On the Record With Greta," the Greta Van Susteren program on the Fox News Channel in New York. She graduated from Syracuse University. She is a daughter of Margaret Regan of New York and Brian Saunders of Yonkers and a stepdaughter of Regina Saunders.

The bridegroom, 35, is the owner of the Peoples Improv Theater in New York and has had television roles in "Law and Order" and "Third Watch" and appeared in the Brooklyn Academy of Music production of "Homebody/Kabul," a play by Tony Kushner. He was a writer on "Saturday Night Live" and worked in the Second City troupe in Chicago. Mr. Farahnakian graduated from the University of North Carolina. His parents, Azam Farahnakian and Dr. Ali Farahnakian, live in Advance, N.C.
