This class is designed to show the student how to apply the techniques learned through improvisation to the commercial audition process.
Improvisational skills and opportunities are increasingly more prevalent in the commercial marketplace. In this workshop, we will hone the skills every actor needs to make your auditions unique to you and perfect for the director and client. We'll cover the slate, working with boards and how to navigate troublesome scene partners. Even the most seasoned commercial actor can learn from what happens behind the camera. You will leave this class with the confidence to deliver in the room...at the call back...and on set.
The class will also include discussions on headshots, audition etiquette, and tips on getting a commercial agent.
Two Saturdays: December 13 and 20 from 3:30-7:30pm.
