Hi. Former Chicagoan, now in NYC and studying at the UCB. Would like to catch some shows while I am in town Nov 25-27. Recommendations? Anyone care to say hello in person?

Heya Brett,

Visiting for Turkey Day I assume :)

Offhand, you can check out IO shows at 8pm on Wednesday for FREE! That night Alpha Squad, Cougars and Carl & The Passions play. Since it's the night before Thanksgiving AND the show is free, I'd recommend getting to IO around 7:30 for a good seat (partake of our cheap beer to pass the time).

Yes, yes, for t-day. Thanks for the tip. Perhaps I'll see you at the show. I'll be wearing a UCB shirt, so do say hello. What's recommended on Tuesdays?

Tuesdays. Harrumph. I don't want to dip into the IO well too much (Harold shows at 8, Lottery at 10:30). Maybe catch a SC show? They're in previews right now. Well, at least the mainstage is. The E.T.C. show I think is still in it's normal run and is pretty darn good from what I hear!
