Salsation Theatre Company, NFP, continuing a five-year tradition of "Comedy with a Latin Flavor", is holding auditions June 8th. Salsation (before and since incorporating as a not for profit) has appeared at the Chicago Sketch, Chicago Improv, Big Stinkin (Austin), and Memphis Comedy Festivals, and the UCB Theatre. Their most recent revue "My Big Fat Quinceanera" played to sold-out houses for three months and was featured on WGN-9, WMAQ-5, Chicago Tribune and elsewhere.

We are seeking:

Writer-actresses for our October sketch comedy revue
* Latina or with strong roots in Latino culture
* one year performance experience required
* improv and/or sketch training strongly preferred
* singing, dancing, and bilingualism desirable
* potential pay

Actors and actresses for touring shows
* Latino or with strong roots in Latino culture
* one year performance experience required
* improv training, "quick study" strongly preferred
* singing, dancing, and bilingualism desirable
* pay for most performances
