That was an incredible Cagematch tonight. Krompf was amazing, but hooooooly shit, did Roo Roo burn that motherfucker down.

The first time everybody lapsed during the Roo Roo set might be my favorite improv moment ever. The last time I laughed that hard was at this year's DSI festival when Roo Roo did a scene with Brett Gelman as Bobby Fischer, destroying Curtis Gwynn's unknown chess player.

Hats off to both teams.

Pally "Strikes"

Atamanuik "I peeled my foreskin back like a Banana Peel"

Gemberling "I spent most of Saturday afternoon tongue kissing my bird"

Casey "I did take down all my toilet cams from local Mcdonalds"

Speiller "I had sex with a little kid last night"

Gwinn "Let's talk about what just happened"

Just a few lines from a classy show.
How hating jews mixed in there is beyond me. I am still in shock at how amazing that relapse was.

Krompf: Also amazing but no man on bird sex. Maybe next time.

It was PAINFULLY funny. Both were fantastic.

Special bonus points for Pally for "Strike!" and pounding his fist on the wall. Special bonus bonus points to Gavin for the most amazingly patient performance I have seen in eons. Watching Gavin during the entire set was amazing. And dead on perfect move at the end.

My face hurt so much after this show.

Wengert ordering concert tickets online with his daughter, then asking for a refund, then breaking into Earth Wind & Fire.

While Gemberling was on the floor with his bird, the entire back half of the audience was standing and jumping to get a glimpse of what was happening.

And just during all the lapses, Gavin sat there patiently and took it all in.

Hats off to Curtis too for straight-man juggling all of those hilarious characters.

Very memorable cagematch, thank you guys.

Congrats to Roo Roo for breaking the all-time CageMatch record! 15 consecutive wins!

What an amazing CageMatch team. Last night was the best one I've seen yet (though I missed the bus stop one everyone talks about.) So fucking good! Pally and Gavin fit right in and everyone knocked it out of the park. This performance by Curtis is sure to get nominated for Best Straight Man. So good!

If you're not watching Roo Roo at CageMatch you are missing out!

(I didn't see all of Krompf's show as I had to help with the wrestling match-- but I did see the beginning of it and they were great as always. Awsome night all around!)

Gemberling's "Oh no, I had many pets" was one of the best examples of denial serving game that I've seen in some time.

I'm also much enamored with the idea that George Lucas existing only in a series of computer programs, kind of like Dr. O'Blivion from Videodrome. Amy's support was terrific per usual, but this was Casey's night. Even as a slumped over date rape victim.

Speaking of patiently waiting to be recognized, Adam Pally sat intently fishing and drinking beer last night for close to 30 minutes while the entire scene happened, much of it with their backs to him. He patiently waited to see where he fit with it. Very selfless and impressive.
