Saturday: I know that beggars can't be choosers, but i don't think i'm expecting too much by asking that, between the hours of say midnight and 8:00 in the morning, there be no gunplay in the apartment. Or if one of the roommates really wants to discharge his firearm through the window into the wall of the neighbors' house, he should at least tell me first so i don't piss all over robin's couch.
Sunday: the best hot dogs in the world are sold in front of the Pep Boys on Hollywood and Gower.
Monday: Harrison Ford and I have excellent tastes in literature.
Tuesday: An elderly military official was on NPR talking about the new bugles that have pre-recorded digital music for funeral ceremonies. there just aren't enough trained buglers in the service these days, so they are planning to use the ceremonial bugles to replace the use of CDs at military funerals. the military official emphasized that they are not replacing any actual bugle players. he said "we're not trying to pull any willie manillie lip synch."
