In trying to reply I just got the server is too busy message.

Well, I was just wondering, because it was all Improv sites that I couldn't get to. Everything else was FINE!

I thought maybe you all might have had problems or something.

I'm getting that now, too, Gwyn. Not on other sites, but on the IRC.

Just high traffic because the weather drove people out of walking auditions??

Also, in some of the new drop-down menus, like "Rate This Thread" or the options when you click on someone's username, the menu window appears in hard-to-find places in the browser window, like all the way at the bottom of the page. This is true in both Classic and in OS 10.x for Macs.
I have OS 10.2 and am running IE 5.2 and I have the same problem - in fact, at times I can't get the drop-down menus to drop down at all - just the text in the part that I am trying to "drop" from gets oddly highlighted and nothing happens.

Windows IE bug

I noticed that on Windows IE 6.0 that if you go to the message boards w/o signing in, you are immediately diverted to the Log In page - If you want to just "browse" and not log in, you have to click out of this - This is different than the old version and a little strange.

Often, reply fields aren't selectable both in "quick" and "full" reply. You can click on it, there may or may not be a cursor, and when you hit a letter key a weird thing happens. A random piece of text elsewhere on the page is selected.

Maybe it's a Mozilla issue? Not having this problem on other sites...

Threads I've already viewed seem to be coming up as unviewed again. So far, it's happened this morning, and I think I suspected something last night. I've not logged out or anything.

After logging in (yes, you are forced to a login screen), it redirects to the "lost password" page. I mistyped a couple of times first, but it was upon successfully putting in my password that I was redirected.

Hey Kevin-

I was trying to create a new username for The Locals, and two weird things happened while going through the registration process.

1. I was asked my birthday, but was only given a drop-down box for month and an entry field for year, with a blank space in the middle where "date" would ordinarily have been. Since this is only for age confirmation, this may be intentional.

2. But... on the next screen, where one is supposed to see an image that confirms you are not some kind of bot registering for the site, I saw no image -- there was a blank space where the image should have been.

I am using IE 6.0 on a computer running Windows XP.

xoxo
