The Tribe - an artists' collaborative and showcase of Boston's comedic talent - is holding auditions for its newest team: The Tribe Improv Movie and Sketch Group. This innovative troupe will use improvisation to create characters and scenes for short movies and live sketches.
When: Sunday, January 30th, 2005 at 1pm-4pm
Where: 50 Vassar Street, Cambridge, MA (This is an MIT building)
Who: Previous improv, movie, theater, or comedy experience a plus but not necessary. Auditions open to all performers and “behind-the-camera” talent (writers, producers, cinematographers, editors, etc.).

What: Please bring a headshot and résumé, or a
clear photograph of yourself and a list of any relevant experience. Completely optional: if possible, please be prepared to perform a short monologue of your choosing. Samples of your work (videotapes, DVDs, scripts, etc.) will be helpful, but they cannot be returned.
The Tribe performs short- and long-form Improv Comedy, Theatre, Sketch, Film, and Video Shorts, as well as unique showcase shows in and around Boston. We run shows every
Thursday at 8pm at The Cantab Lounge in Central Square, Cambridge, and every Friday at 8pm at Buzz Boston in The Theatre District - come check us out - you'll be glad you did (note: shows at both venues resume in January, 2005).
