It's coming down and accumulating fast here in Brooklyn. I'm staying in for the long haul! Hooray for the Golden Girls on Lifetime...

The key to Converse in the snow is thick wool socks and light steps.

Woohoo!
And duct tape. Converse can be temporarily weather-proofed with several layers of duct tape.

It snowed once in Bakersfield.

Twice actually if you count the half inch of brown frost that prompted a tiny snowman.

In Wilmington, Delaware and next-door in Philly, it's WHITE.
I-95 was a real treat at about 11am this morning. Everyone going 35mph, tops.
Soooo much snow. I can't wait to use my bathroom waste basket as a shovel tomorrow, so I can dig out my car. Yay!
It's lovely.

Before the plows came through. Around 10:30 or so last night.

Five minutes ago - 8:55am. Note that the cars have now been locked in by the plows.

Forgive the shitty pictures -- my fiancee took my real camera to Hawaii.
FUCKING HAWAII. Ridiculous.
