I'm looking for awesome NYC hip hop.
Not just New York based, but specifically tracks that are focused on the boroughs, neighborhoods, and institutions of NYC.

e.g. "Cross Bronx Expressway" by Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz or "Xmas in Hollis" by Run D.M.C.

More than songs that happen to be NYC-centric, I'm looking for AWESOME songs that are NYC-centric.

They talk about locations in brooklyn hieghts and downtown brooklyn (montague street and fulton mall) as well as other stuff.

"Brooklyn Queens"-3rd Base circa 1989.... The album is called "The Cactus Album" and it's one of the best rap albums ever made by 2 white guys from NYC...
