Hey, I thought some folks here might be interested.

WARNING: I've been reading that some people running OS X 10.2.8 are having trouble starting up after installing this, so beware.

I am quite curious to hear comments from anybody that has also used another Avid system.

Looks really questionable to me Zach. I'm all about *free*, but it looks like it is missing alot. No Insert, overwrite, or replace? Ack! Even as an introduction to Avid, you would outgrow it really quick. I would just find a friend that is a student and get Express DV for $400. Especially if it is prone to crash. I'm not the most experienced Avid person by any stretch of the imagination, just my two cents.
