Auditions - Shortform Improv Group - No Laugh Track Required

No Laugh Track Required, a shortform improv group that has been in existence on and off since 1999 is casting a brand new incarnation of the group. Seeking dynamic shortform improv actors.

Group audition this Sunday July 13 12-2 PM in Midtown Manhattan. Specific location will be given after you submit to audition. Auditioners must be there the entire 2 hours. Audition will consist of improv exercises and performance games.

The group will rehearse starting immediately on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-10 PM in Forest Hills, Queens (15 minutes from midtown by subway) and perform once a month on a Saturday night at 8 in Manhattan, first performance August 2.

There are no dues and performers earn commission on ticket sales.

The founder and director of No Laugh Track Required is Lee Solomon. Lee is a veteran shortform improv performer, director, and teacher. He performed in and directed Gotham City Improv's award-winning mainstage shortform show, Off The Top Of Our Heads as well as taught at Gotham, and has performed in many other shortform groups including Improvolution and Red Tie Mafia. He has had many incarnations of No Laugh Track Required since 1999, and they have performed all over the city including at Caroline's. He studied improv at UCB, The PIT, Chicago City Limits, Second City, Gotham City Improv, and Improvolution, and acting at The New Actors Workshop and The School for Film and Television.
