JACQUES THE SHOWMAN
Caucasion male, age 25-45

Looking for a loveable, Joel Grey type.

Jacques is a flamboyant and extravagant French showman, with an intense, contemporary quality, patterned after characters in MOULIN ROUGE and CIRQUE DU SOLEIL. He should be wildly theatrical and comedic, with a wildly optimistic, upbeat energy, yet reaming friendly and easy to approach. Funny character faces preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must speak fluent French, or provide level of proficiency with language
- French or French-Canadian born is desirable (not imperative)
- Must be capable of memorizing lines and sticking to a script, as well as adlibing and improvising in character (in both English and French)
- Must be comfortable with "hammy" bits of stage business and mingling with crowds, all with good, clean comedic taste
- Must have a VALID PASSPORT

$1,100.00 +10% (all inclusive, travel and hotel expenses paid seperately)

One day video shoot: July 9, 2003 (Troy, NY)
Live Rehearsals: Mid-August (Philadelphia, PA)
Live Industrial Event: (1 day only, but travel time included): August 25-27, 2003 (Paris, France)

**Travel and hotel expenses will be paid for ALL out-of-town travel.
