There was a lot of talk about the Atlanta Improv Festival coming up in May but all that talk kind of dropped off all of a sudden. I'd like to know more information, perhaps from someone who's organizing or performing or involved in some way. The goal is to either have Dirty South Improv teams register or just a group of DSI players and students come down and hang with everyone for a weekend. There's already interest from the people in NC in taking a big road trip.

But I'd like some more information on everything, like how to register, what's on the improv menu as far as shows, costs, workshops, accomodations and everything. Maybe it'll all become clearer when it gets closer to May, but with all the interest up here I'd like to start making plans now!

PM or post for everyone to see!

The Atlanta Improv Festival is hosted by "Dad's Garage". For details, email Chris Blair at chris@dadsgarage.com. I'm pretty sure their application time is gone, but who knows.

The Atlanta Improv Festival is May 26-30.

This was posted by someone who got a message back from Chris Blair on the boards: [edit: I put the wrong location of the source of this note]

DSI's Throw Like a Girl is interested, I'll check him out. If not for performing then at least a fun weekend away from the norm to check out some improv. Thanks Todd!
