Applications for the Ottawa Canada's 2011 Improv festival are now available!!
This is the 2nd annual Improv Festival in Canada's Nations Capital, and we're pleased as punch! We will be welcoming over 10 improv troupes over the course of the 5 day festival.
The Festival will be on March 16-20th 2011.
This year will accept three types of entries into the festival.
Individual – Solo improvisers are welcome to apply to be a part of the Festival Company. The company will perform in the new format shows and competitive shows being performed at the festival.
Spotlight – There are 10 performance spots in the festival. They are approximately 20-30 minutes in length. We're looking for great improv troupes to bring us what they're best at. Short Form, long Form and no-form shows are all welcome.
Full Show – Improv and Sketch Comedy shows 45-60 minute long, Only 2 shows will we selected. Please provide as much detail about your show as possible, and attach a video clip if possible.
APPLICATION TIMELINE
We begin accepting applications on Dec 15th 2010.
Deadline for applications is February 1st, 2011.
APPLICATION PROCESS
In order to be considered for acceptance into the Festival, each company must submit a complete Festival Application Form.
Please make & keep a copy of your Application Form.
