Hi everybody,
I am an iproviser as well as a professional jazz musician and I am the producer of a compilation CD called "Sax in the City." This CD features 11 female jazz artists and ALL (100 %) of the proceeds from sales will go to breast cancer charities. The CD is being manufactured right now and a friend of mine is going to do some PR for the project. She used to work for a large ad agency years ago, but has lost all of her contacts. We want to target women's publications (Vogue, O, etc) and we have to write the press release before the end of the month to get in the December issues. Ellen (my friend) said that ad agencies will often have lists of different categories of publications and contact information. So, here is my question. Does anyone know anybody that would have this information at their company, and would they be willing to give us some contacts? As I said, this is all for charity and we've all donated our time and music, etc. Please email me or call me at 646/279-7908
