Nothing to exciting happened this weekend although I did get to talk to a bass player from a popular rock band. I asked him what it was like to be a rockstar and about the groupies and stuff. He told me that it certainly isn't what it used to be, espesially in cities like LA and NYC. But apparently middle america still has a lot of wild groupie chicks. Good times. One thing I will talk about though is transvestites. I don't think it's fair for the guys from out of town to be exposed to them. They just can't tell. I mean sometimes I can't tell and I see them all the time. They prey on these guys and make out with them in the club all the time. I mean everyone has their fetishes and they are entitled to them but when the guy doesn't know it's just not fair. Their are a couple of them that are the hottest chicks in the club at times. That's how good they look. We try to pull the guy aside and let him know if we think he's clueless or tell one of his friends. We have had some fights before for this kind of thing and we try to avoid that. It's a public service.

Here is another thing and if you've ever stood in front of a club you are bound to have witnessed this. When some guy or group of guys tries to get in and gets rejected they will tend to argue and talk shit to save face. Happens all the time. The bad part about this is it happens so much to us we tend to become smartasses and have good comebacks that tend to embarass them. It's just doesn't look good for either of us. And the whole I make more than you thing is usually bullshit too. Doormen make a lot of money. Anyone that has come up to a club and tipped the doorman to not wait in line knows that we go home with a pocket full of money on top of the hourly wage which is more than most people make. Hell the coatcheck girl goes home with 500 a night.
