Am I a massive tool for listening to the Mac?

I still haven't written my one-man show, "Watershed: Tusk," have I? Please burn me this CD and Rumours and in three months I will put up an hilarious show.

(Spelling Rumors with a u made me introduce hilarious with an an.)

Tusk and Rumours are two of the great rock albums of the 70s. No shame in that.

Early Mac (peter green era) is even better, closer to yardbirds in sound.

Later Mac is pretty weak. Tango In The Night (for example), pretty weak. Light rock.

you are not a tool. Uber-hipster coleslawesome band Camper Van Beethoven covered the entire tusk album recorded in 1987 and released in 2002.

Tusk is one of my alltime favorite songs. I still remember a jukebox at a pizza joint in Kansas City that had the 45 with an extended version on the B side. I won't be able to die a happy man until I find that 45 again (and I looked on Ebay for almost a year). So, we're either both tools or neither - take your pick.

Might it be on the recently-reissued double cd with a whole extra disc of shit?

The Mac is one of those "radio" bands for me, the ones who you say you don't like, but have heard so many songs on the radio you enjoy you realize you do like them

there is no shame in liking The Mac up until I'd say Hold Me. Which is an okay song, but after that...nothin'
